Whaanga Coast is a notoriously twisty stage and a true Rally NZ classic. This year the stage has just proved why it is a classic. Whaanga Coast is set in the most stunning green scenery, which is not that untypical for New Zealand. The stage is situated to the South of Auckland, just outside the town Raglan, and Whaanga Coast takes the crews along the West coast. This time in SS20 Sébastien Loeb has won the stage, Marcus Grönholm had an off and still took the lead away from Petter Solberg – we think there is a lot of material in that stage alone that deserves further explaining!
